How to choose an erotic massage salon in Prague

Prague has no shortage of erotic and tantric massage studios, and at first glance they all look alike: dimmed lights in the photos, promises of complete relaxation, elegant interiors. The differences only show in the details. In some places, care for the guest ends the moment you pay; in others, it begins with your first WhatsApp message and continues long after you leave. Choosing well matters: the same money can buy a memorable experience, or an awkward hour you would rather forget.

So we have put together a guide to help you recognise a trustworthy studio before you send a booking. We run two studios in Prague ourselves, so in places we describe our own practice. The criteria below apply everywhere, though: use them on anyone you are considering.

Start with the website: what a serious studio publishes

The website is your first filter, and it tells you more than you might think. A reputable salon has no reason to hide anything, so you will find a complete price list with durations and prices for every massage, ideally with a note on what the price includes. Phrases like "price on request" or "we will agree on site" are a reason for caution: where there is no public price, the price can move once you arrive, and rarely downwards.

The second sign is the service descriptions. The text should make clear what the massage involves, how long it takes, who it suits and how it differs from the other programmes on offer. Vague promises with no concrete content suggest the studio is counting on everything being "sorted out" behind closed doors.

The third sign is the photography. Real pictures of the interior and masseuse profiles with current photos, ideally with a shift schedule, show that the studio has nothing to hide and that what you see online is what you will meet in person. The fourth sign is publicly available house rules: the age limit, hygiene standards, booking and cancellation terms, and expected behaviour. A salon that publishes its rules usually enforces them too, and that protects both sides, guests and masseuses alike.

Read reviews and other people's experiences carefully

If you search for experiences with erotic massages in Prague, you will find two kinds of sources: Google reviews and forum discussions. Both are valuable if you know how to read them. Do not look for isolated outbursts; look for recurring patterns. When reviews keep mentioning cleanliness, friendly treatment or fair prices, that is good news. When complaints about different prices on arrival or pressure to upgrade keep coming back, believe them, even if the average rating looks respectable.

Be wary of profiles with a perfect score and generic reviews with no detail. Genuine experiences tend to be specific: the masseuse's name, the type of ritual, small moments from the visit. It is also worth watching how a studio responds to criticism. A factual reply and a visible effort to fix things says more about a business than ten sentences of praise.

Bear in mind that reviews are naturally scarcer for this kind of service than for restaurants. A smaller number of them is not a bad sign in itself, as long as the experiences are consistent and the studio engages with them.

Red flags that should make you pause

Some things should stop you before you ever book:

• Hidden or shifting prices. A price you only learn on arrival tends to grow. A serious studio tells you the final amount in advance.
• Pressure. Being pushed into a longer programme, a more expensive massage or extras you never asked for. A good salon makes an offer and leaves the decision to you.
• No rules. Where there are no written rules, you have nothing to appeal to if a misunderstanding arises.
• Stock photos. An interior and masseuses who look different in reality are a form of misleading advertising, and rarely the only deception.
• Evasive communication. Reluctance to answer clear questions about price, procedure or hygiene.
• No address. A studio without a fixed address and opening hours is harder to verify and easier to make disappear.

A single red flag does not necessarily mean trouble. Two or more together, however, are a reason to look elsewhere. The choice in Prague is wide enough that you never need to take the risk.

Location and setting: you are going to undress there, so you need to feel at ease

The address says a lot. A studio at a permanent address in the city centre, with opening hours and a name on the doorbell, behaves differently from a "private flat" that moves every six months. A permanent address means the business expects guests to come back, and treats them accordingly. At the same time, the entrance should be discreet. That is not a contradiction: good studios sit at a verifiable address but do not draw attention to themselves from the street.

Before booking, look through photos of the rooms and imagine how you would feel in them. The massage takes place in a private room, usually on a futon, and the atmosphere is half the experience: soft light, a pleasant temperature, calm music, and the chance to shower and dress without hurry. If the website shows only one blurry photo of a corridor, ask yourself why.

Accessibility matters too. Our studios are at Opletalova 1566/30, a short walk from Wenceslas Square, and Lužická 1416/29 in Vinohrady, both a few minutes from public transport. You arrive unhurried, and an unhurried guest relaxes far more easily.

Hygiene is the baseline, not a bonus

Hygiene shows how a studio thinks about its guests when nobody is watching. The shower is fundamental: before the massage it is a necessity, because warm water prepares the body for touch and oil, and afterwards it is a comfort, because you can rinse the oils off before you leave. Ask whether the shower is a natural part of the visit or a paid "extra". With us it is part of every visit, with towels and shower products provided.

Other details include fresh linen on the futon for every guest, clean towels and quality oils. None of this is visible on a website, but you can ask in advance and pay attention on site. The bathroom is a mirror of the whole business: if it is neglected, it is rarely the only neglected thing. The scent of the rooms is just as telling. A clean studio smells of oil and fresh linen, not of disinfectant covering something up.

Hygiene works in both directions. Serious studios ask guests to arrive clean and fresh, and that is not pedantry but consideration for the masseuses, who spend an hour in close contact with your body. A salon that expects this of its guests usually holds itself to a high standard as well.

Discretion: how to tell a salon takes it seriously

With erotic massage, discretion matters as much as the massage itself. A good studio handles it systematically, not just with the word "discreet" in a tagline. There are several telltale signs: an unmarked entrance, time gaps between guests so that visits never overlap, a ban on photography and recording on the premises, and a clear commitment that no information about your visit is shared with third parties.

Ask about payment too. Being able to pay in cash on site matters to many guests precisely because of privacy, and a reputable salon offers it alongside card payment as a matter of course. Nobody should demand unnecessary personal details either: a first name or nickname and a time are all a booking needs.

If you get excuses instead, that is an answer in itself.

Communication in advance reveals more than the website

The simplest quality test costs you one message. Write to the studio on WhatsApp or call, and ask concrete questions: how much the massage you want costs at a given length, what the price includes, how a first visit works, which masseuses are on shift. Then watch the reply. A serious salon responds quickly, factually and without evasion, and if you are unsure what to choose, it advises you instead of steering you towards the most expensive item on the menu. This is also where you naturally agree on boundaries and preferences.

A good sign is being able to choose your masseuse in advance from the profiles and schedule on the website, or to decide on site if you prefer. We recommend booking ahead, ideally at least two hours in advance, so the studio has time to prepare everything. We are open daily 10:00–05:00, so you can arrange a visit late in the evening too.

What the price tells you, and what you should get for it

Erotic massage prices in Prague cover a fairly wide range, and it pays to know what is usual. For reference, from our price list: a classic erotic massage starts at 1400 CZK for 30 minutes, with an hour at 1900 CZK. More sensual programmes cost more, a nuru massage is 2200 CZK for 60 minutes, and the more luxurious rituals sit around 2500 to 3300 CZK per hour. A session with two masseuses costs exactly double the price of one, with no hidden surcharges.

A suspiciously low price is a warning sign, not a win. Skilled masseuses, clean rooms and enough time between guests all cost money, and a studio that undercuts the usual level dramatically is saving somewhere: on people, on hygiene, or it will "top up" the price on site with items the website never mentioned. The opposite extreme, a much higher price, does not guarantee quality either. Judge the whole picture: what the price includes, how the studio communicates and how its rooms look.

So always ask what exactly the price covers. With us, the price includes the whole session with shower and towels, you pay after the massage, in cash or by card, and any extras in the range of 400–800 CZK are agreed directly with the masseuse beforehand, not halfway through the ritual. Expect that standard anywhere: a final price up front, payment after the session, and no surprises in between.

Questions to ask yourself before booking

Before you send a booking, run through a short checklist:

• Did I find a full price list with durations and final prices on the website?
• Do I know exactly what the price includes and what is paid separately?
• Have I seen real photos of the interior and the masseuses' profiles?
• Does the studio publish its rules and a permanent address with opening hours?
• Did it answer my specific questions quickly and to the point?
• Is the shower part of the visit, and does the place feel clean?
• Does the studio handle discretion concretely, not just with a single word in a tagline?
• Does the communication leave me feeling calm, with no pressure or evasion?

If you answered yes to everything, you have most likely found a studio that will take good care of you. And if you hesitate over any question, write to the studio and ask directly. The reaction to an uncomfortable question will tell you more about the business than its entire website.

A good choice feels calm

Erotic massage stands or falls on trust. Where you know the price in advance, know what to expect and feel respected in every message, you can let go, and only a body that has let go truly enjoys the ritual. That is why a few extra minutes of research pay off: browse the website, read the reviews, send a message and notice the details. Nothing in this guide is an excessive demand. It is the ordinary standard your money deserves.
